Bleeding Heart

I interpret a bleeding heart as actually feeling another person’s emotional pain. They are extremely emotional about certain issues and he or she feels so dramatically that their entire heart cries. Therefore, in my painting, I have added a soft lace behind the flowers to provide them with some comfort.
