A Flight of Stairs

I was in Gladwin, up north in Michigan. The oak brown forest we entered appeared very primitive. When I looked up, the trees looked as tall as skyscrapers. The peaceful atmosphere was soothing for the soul. In this painting, I have captured the essence of this forest, although the stairs are a figment of my imagination.
